Event description

In 1981 the Montreal Regional Science Fair was created to regroup the best projects presented by young Anglophones from the Montreal metropolitan area.

In 2001 the regional fair became known as the Montreal Regional Science & Technology Fair. We represent the English-speaking community in the Greater Montréal, including the Lanaudière, Laurentides, Laval, Montérégie and Montreal regions.

 UPDATE (Dec-8-2017): Project maximums per school
 9 projects per school for schools who host a local fair
 4 projects per school for schools who do not host a local fair
 *for those schools with a student population greater than 800 students, please contact Loredana Carbone to discuss project maximums.
 **if at the close of registration on Feb 25 there is still room for more projects, I will re-contact all the schools. 
<P>THE OFFICIAL EAST REGISTRATION SCHOOL+EXHIBITOR FORM, WILL BE POSTED SOON.<P> <P>UPDATE (Dec-8-2017): Regional judges per school Schools entering 7 to 9 projects must provide at least 6 judges. Schools entering 3 to 6 projects must provide at least 4 judges. Schools entering up to 2 projects must provide at least 1 judge.<P>

The 2018 (36th edition) MRSTF will take place March 25-26-27, 2018 Location: Concordia University (1515 Ste. Catherine St. W) Schedule:

IMPORTANT: if you are using form A, B, C or D, the ethics committee will only review the online version (google from fillable) of these forms. The older word documents (from previous years) WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Step 3: download and fill out the EAST school and student registation form (coming soon)

Step 4: send hard copies of projects and relevant Form A, B, C, or D (in step 1), the above form (in step 3) and payment to Loredana Carbone (instructions included in the document above).


Judging will take place on Monday, March 26, 2018

The deadline to register is March 11, 2018 (midnight). Complete the online registration form to become a volunteer judge.  Whenever asked for the region choose “Montreal Regional Science & Technology Fair” (as opposed to Montreal, which is our French counterpart).
  • Registration and breakfast  at 7:30
  • MANDATORY briefing at 8:00
  • Judging period from 9:00 to 12:00 (judging periods are timed)
  • Lunch from 12:00-2:00 pm
