EAST is a non-profit organization and registered charity, dedicated to empowering young people by offering enhanced, modern and accessible Science and Technology experiences, in both French and English, that immerse them in real-world challenges, fostering creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills. Our vision is to ignite young minds, empowering them to harness science, technology, and innovation to dream of the future and drive transformative change.

Our Achievements

2002

CRC Robotics is born

CRC Robotics program proudly launches its first-ever competition, Alphabetica 2002. Alphabetica marked the beginning of what would become an enduring tradition — inspiring thousands of students to explore engineering, innovation, and collaboration through hands-on experience.

2001

Montreal Science Fair is rebranded

The Montreal Metropolitain Regional Fair becomes known as the Montreal Regional Science & Technology Fair, now representing the English-speaking community in the Greater Montréal, including the Lanaudière, Laurentides, Laval, Montérégie and Montreal regions.

EAST is founded

Born from a shared passion for empowering the next generation of innovators, a dedicated group of educators and professionals comes together to found EAST — a non-profit organization and registered charity committed to expanding access to STEM opportunities for youth.
